Coconut Cocoa Date Balls

Prep Time15 mins

 10 Dates (large)
 3 tbsp Raw Cocoa Powder
 1 tbsp Coconut Flakes
 80 g Raw Almond Nuts
 1 tsp Chia Seeds
 4 tbsp Cashew Butter
 1 pinch Sea Salt (optional)

1

Blend all the ingredients together, except the Cashew Butter.
Note: If you buy your nuts whole, add them now. If you buy your nuts already ground, add them when you add the Cashew Butter.

2

When it is nicely mixed (not too fine, must still have some crunch), add in a tablespoon at a time of Cashew Butter, and continue blending on high. Stop regularly to unstick the mixture from the sides of the blender with a little spoon.

3

Once mixed, add to a bowl and work the mixture for a few minutes with your hands.

4

When the mixture is ready, roll your balls, laying them out on a breadboard or a plate.

5

When all your balls are rolled, add some coconut flakes to a bowl and roll each ball in it until it's fully covered.

6

Put all your date balls in a covered container and into the fridge. Leave in the fridge for a day before eating (if you can wait that long! :))
